RENTAL AGREEMENT

 

Reservations:

A 50% deposit is required in order to hold a reservation date, items and time.  Without a DEPOSIT, an ID and a Signed Rental Agreement on file, WE CANNOT reserve any party equipment.  A minimum of 1 week notice is required to reserve your party equipment.  Nevertheless, we advise you to order as early as possible.

Prices:

All prices are for one event and one day usage only. Prices are subject to change without notice. 

 

Cancellation Policy:

When you pay a deposit for your party equipment, we hold those items for you only. If there is availability, you can add all items you want to your order, but YOU CANNOT take any items out from your signed rental agreement.  WE CANNOT control the condition of the weather or ANY other issue or unforeseen event. Schedule allowing customer may reschedule, otherwise if you cancel 3 to 7 days prior to your delivery date you will be charged 25% of your total rental equipment cost. Cancellations made less than 24-48 hours (2 business days) prior to the rental date will be charged 50% of the total equipment rental cost. Rental reservations not canceled at least 24 hours prior to the rental delivery date will be charged 100% of the rental cost for all equipment reserved. NO EXCEPTIONS! 

 

Payment &Remaining Balances:

Balance is due on all orders before but no later than at the time of delivery to your event location.  No Equipment will be left until funds are received. NO EXCEPTIONS. Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Cash or Money Orders are welcome.  Personal checks will ONLY be accepted on a case by case basis. There is a $35 fee for every returned check.

 

Delivery Location & Fees:

Delivery does not include set up of chairs and tables.  Set up can be arranged for an additional charge determined by the amount of tables and chairs.  The customer is responsible for leaving all tables and chairs stacked and folded in an area accessible to our drivers.  If driver cannot access tables and chairs there will be an additional $100 fee. Teardown is not included in this fee. If rental items are not broken down the way they were delivered a 25% breakdown fee will apply. Deliveries are made to ground level only; therefore please make your delivery arrangements explicit, as there may be extra charges if stairs or long distance carrying is involved. You will be charged a $50-$150 cleaning fee, depending on equipment rented, if the equipment is returned dirty. We charge a fee of $2.00 (two dollar) per minute for waiting unnecessarily to deliver or pick up equipment.  We will also charge one additional delivery fee, determined by distance per occurrence, if we must return to deliver or pick the items up from your location outside of the agreed time. If the delay creates a circumstance where the items are needed for another event, and are not made available to that customer, we will charge you THREE TIMES (3x) the rental rate for each item that is made unavailable.

 

Delivery & Return:

All party equipment will be counted before and after.  There will be an additional charge if any party equipment is lost or damaged. NO EXCEPTIONS! Some of the equipment we rent requires training prior to its use. We suggest that the person(s) designated to operate such equipment get a lesson in operation from us prior to the event. We will not be responsible for machines that do not work properly or any damages to improperly operating equipment if no lesson was given prior to use.  WE STRONLY SUGGEST individual(s) responsible for operating and maintaining the machine is present at the time of delivery.

 

Concession Items:

All our concession machines are inspected before being rented.  Read the operating and cleaning instructions.  Please DO NOT drop water inside the cotton candy machine's SPINNING HEAD and MOTOR.  Also, DO NOT immerse any other part of the snow cone machine & popcorn machine in WATER.  Doing so may damage these machines and prevent those from working properly.

 

Linens:

All linens must be free from any candle wax, burns, etc., shaken out and placed in linen bag provided.  In order to prevent mildew, DO NOT leave linens in plastic bags.

 

Chairs and Tables:

To prevent OXIDE and DAMAGES our rental equipment, such as chairs and tables, must be protected from heavy rain, cigarette burns, mud, gum or food.  Please DO NOT stand on chairs and tables.  After use, leave chairs and tables stacked, folded, dry and clean in a safe place.

 

Punch Bowl:

Must be returned rinsed free of standing liquid.

Responsibilities:

Customers are responsible for equipment from the time of delivery to the time of pick-up.  CHARGES will be assessed for ALL damaged, broken, or missing items. I have been given full and ample opportunity to inspect all rental equipment and find no obvious damage. As a result, misuse or improper operation of equipment which results in any injury, damage, personal loss or Death as a result of mine or my guests' misuse or negligence is NOT the responsibility of M&D Perfect Party Rental. I understand that negligence on my part or the part of my guests in regards to operation or use of rental equipment does not constitute negligence on the part of M&D Perfect Party Rental and will not hold M&D Perfect Party Rental responsible for any injury, damage, personal loss or death as a result of mine or my guests' negligence. I am responsible for the safety, storage, preparation, cleanliness and correct operation of all rental equipment, accessories and food items associated with the rental equipment. I have allowed M&D Perfect Party Rental to act as my contractor to set-up, connect, display and begin operation of all rental equipment and will not hold M&D Perfect Party Rental responsible for any incorrectness or negligence as a result. M&D Perfect Party Rental will set up equipment to "The best of their ability" and are not and should not be considered experts in the construction, operation, placement or display of any rental equipment. All accessories and additional concessions not considered "a connected part" of the rented equipment provided by M&D Perfect Party Rental have been delivered and released into my possession as new, unopened packages. I understand that M&D Perfect Party Rental uses third party manufacturers and suppliers to provide accessories necessary for the operation of some rental equipment and that although the M&D Perfect Party Rental label may appear on the package; M&D Perfect Party Rental plays no role in the actual manufacture, packaging, shipment storage or delivery of the item. It is implied that by receipt of a confirmation email or confirmation by written, verbal or any other source that you have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of this agreement. By signing the "M&D Perfect Party Rental Invoice/Contract" you are committing and agreeing to all the terms and conditions of this rental agreement. If no such contract exists or was not signed, it is implied that your intent, coupled with the publicly and easily accessibility of this agreement, shall perpetuate and solidify the agreement.
